Once upon a time there was an elf. But this elf was a giant elf so nobody knew he was an elf.

Well, nobody except you now.

Me too of course, but I promised I wouldn't tell so please don't tell him I told.

If (dramatic pause) one were to get technical, the term "nobody" could be considered a tad misleading. But then again it wouldn't have made sense to say "everybody", right?

It goes without saying that many of these sentences should not be considered as part of the story.

It's really just the elf part.
